Pair of French Art Deco Wall Sconces – Attributed to CAM, c.1925
A striking pair of twin-arm wall sconces from the height of the Art Deco era, likely produced by the Compagnie des Arts Mécaniques (CAM), a renowned French metal foundry known for its stylised architectural fittings. Model number 631, each sconce features elegant fan motifs, crisp symmetrical lines, and the original aged patina across a cast metal frame—hallmarks of 1920s French design. Perfect for flanking a mirror or doorway, these rare pieces are both sculptural and functional. These were most likely from a piano originally.
Arm length from hinge to centre of candle holder approximately 18cm.
AU$295 each or AU$550 for the pair.
