Traditional English Barrister's Court Wig made from woven horsehair.

Crafted by Ravenscroft, London - the premier London legal wig and robe maker since the late 18th century.

The unique wording on the label (Patentee. Ravenscroft without the Ede prefix) indicates this wig was manufactured between 1901 and 1921.

This Barrister's bar wig features tight horsehair coils along the crown, horizontal side rolls, and two braided tails (pigtails) at the back. 

Includes the original cloth tag with an ink-written owner/registration serial number.
