Neoclassical Reclining Classical Female Figure /Goddess Sculpture

A beautifully detailed, substantial classical-style sculpture depicting a reclining draped female figure, inspired by the reclining figures of Greco-Roman antiquity. The figure rests elegantly on an ornate upholstered-style chaise or plinth, with flowing drapery, finely modelled hair and an elaborate decorative base featuring classical floral and scroll motifs.

The softly aged ivory/stone finish gives it the appearance of an old carved marble sculpture, while its considerable weight suggests cast stone, concrete or a dense composite material. A striking decorative statement piece for a classical, European or grand provincial interior.
