Monumental Mahogany Cathedral Birdcage, 70x70x190cm

Victorian-style cathedral birdcage, often referred to as a "monumental mahogany" birdcage due to its size and architectural detail.

This elaborate piece is crafted from mahogany and based on the Sacré-Cœur church in Montmartre, Paris.

Design and Features

• Structure: It features a large central palladium rotunda dome flanked by four detailed spire towers.
• Dimensions: The cage stands around 190cm tall when placed on its stretcher-base stand
• Craftsmanship: It includes intricate carved wood support columns and metal wire caging.
• Function: Visually striking, however it is mostly intended as a decorative centrepiece rather than for housing live birds.
