Elegant Classical Lady Lamp – 130cm (1930s–50s, Chalkware or Plaster)
This tall and graceful Art Deco-style figure lamp features a robed classical maiden in soft blush and ivory tones, holding a frosted glass globe aloft. Beautifully hand-painted details include delicate facial features, gold-accented hair, and red-painted toenails. Likely mid-century (c. 1930s–50s), this type of lamp was popular in both American and European interiors for its romantic neoclassical styling.
Constructed from chalkware or plaster, she stands approximately 130cm tall and would make a striking floor lamp or sculptural décor piece.
Currently non-functional – cord has been cut – so would need rewiring by a qualified electrician if used as a lamp. Otherwise perfect as a decorative feature in a vintage or eclectic interior.
