Cast Iron Green Man Door Knocker – Verdigris Bronze Finish

A heavy cast iron door knocker in the form of a scowling Green Man, the old foliate-face figure found carved into medieval churches and cathedrals across Europe. Leafy fronds frame the face, with a heavy-browed glare, bared teeth and a thick ring knocker gripped in the jaw that strikes down onto a decorative leafy base plate.

Finished in a dark aged bronze with green verdigris highlights, giving it a weathered, old-world look. Heavily detailed casting with good depth in the face and foliage.
