The lamp keeps its round-wick burner with a pierced brass crown gallery and a star-embossed wick wheel, in the style of the famous German Kosmos burners of the period. It carries a bulb chimney and a brass shade ring on a wire spider, crowned with a classic white opaline glass dome shade with a stepped, flared neck.
