Black Felt Pillbox Hat with Full Veil and Ostrich Plume

Pure noir drama. This black felt pillbox hat is draped all the way around in a bold birdcage veil and finished with a sweeping black ostrich plume that trails elegantly past the shoulder. A soft velvet pom anchors the feather at the side. The result is a piece that moves between mid-century glamour, Edwardian mourning chic and modern couture costume.

The structured felt crown holds its shape beautifully. The wide hexagonal net falls in a full veil to the chin, giving that mysterious, half-hidden look so loved in 1950s cocktail millinery and on today’s racetracks. The plume is long, full and glossy, with plenty of movement.
