A fine antique Wertheim hand-crank sewing machine, manufactured in Frankfurt, Germany around 1890–1910 and distributed in Australia through Hugo Wertheim & Co. This machine retains much of its original floral gilt decoration, brass medallion marked “Wertheim Francfort”, and comes with its original fitted wooden base and protective dome case.
The machine features a smooth-turning hand crank, floral detailing, and a classic early mechanical sewing arm, making it both a functional historical piece and a decorative collector’s item. Ideal for antique sewing machine enthusiasts, German industrial history collectors, or as a unique vintage décor piece.
